My goals for Balmazujvaros
Year One
1. Steer clear of relegation. DONE, Year 1 - Ideally, finish in the top half of the NB1. NOPE, Year 2 late by a year
2. Build up the youth team. DONE, Year 1 – My best win.
3. Turn my squad into a winning squad, NOPE. Year 2, late by a year
Year Two and On –
4. Finish in the EURO top 3 spots.
5. Do some damage in the EURO.
6. Build V Balmazujvaros into the biggest club in the NB1, YES, YEAR 2
7. Win the NB1, YES, YEAR 2
8. Win the Magyar Kupa
9. Get to the Champion’s League., YES YEAR 2
10. Turn Balmazujvaros into a powerhouse of Eastern Europe like Red Star, Sparta Prague or Dinamo Kiev.
11. Secure Balmazujvaros fiscally,
12. Get Balmazujvaros to the point that it will continue it’s dominance after I leave.
Some weird stuff happened. I figured that in Year 1 I’d finish in the Top Half and then in Year 2 in the 2 or 3 spot for the EURO and then in Year 3 win it all, but instead I underperformed in the first year and overperformed in the second. We skipped the EURO Qual spots altogether, and now we have made it to the Champion’s League! We also finished the goal for biggest club as we didn’t just win a squeaker but we dominated this year.
