Only 28 first downs in this game. But 587 yards is very acceptable.
We ended up surrendering 391 yards, about 75 of it on that final drive. Hard to be displeased with a defense that had 10 shutout quarters, but I didn't want to give it away at the end of that game.
They did finish outrushing us 149-142. Dawson had 117 yards on 26 carries, but we could stand to tighten up the run defense a little bit. Too many 10-25 yard runs ...
Jackson is off to a monster start this year. 8 catches for 157 yards and 2 TDs today. So far he has 21 catches for 394 yards and 3 TDs on the season. Maybe he wants to leave after this year with Brewer and Stablein ...
Edwards was 17-26 for 290 yards. 4 TDs, 0 INTs. His passer rating is 199.6. No way that holds up againt good competition, but I'll settle for him being a good QB on the year.
