13 June – Should I ally with Ainu? I could probably vassalize them later, and maybe even annex them. But I don’t know if I want to fight off Japan. But we are in a better place now. Japan is still Chinese Tech, with a 16 military tech. We are at 15 and quickly growing. Japan has 36k armies. We have 27k. That’s not that different. Add in allies (Manchu, Ainu, two colony nations) and that’s do-able. Japan has a bigger navy (53 ships vs our 26)
