Frank Wade put together a solid offensive month for
Brooklyn and was crowned July's top batter in the Continental League.
He batted .471 with 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 24 runs scored.

Manuel Rodríguez of the
Toronto Marlboros spoke softly and carried a big stick in July and was justifiably proclaimed the Republic League Batter of the Month.
The Marlboros first baseman rapped out a .306 batting average with 30 hits in 98 at-bats, drove in 16, scored 19 runs and chalked up a .414 on-base percentage.
This year
Rodríguez is batting .302 with 122 hits, 21 home runs, 66 RBIs, 72 walks, .409 OBP and has scored 69 runs.
