Yeah stories about the people who play sports or what happens in the stands during games are stories about sports. Sorry, but it just is.

If you want stories about sports are platonic events without talking about the players lives, may I suggest historical documentaries about sporting events... But even those discuss what was going on to those players and the societies in which they lived.

Maybe you should just stop watching sports.
