1/22/28- #12 UCLA (Tim Shepard) @ Washington State (DeShawn St. John) -- The Cougars gave a good effort in this one, even leading by 6 at halftime. They couldn't sustain it though, as UCLA got to the line 15 more times than Washington State, and made 9 more free throws. They also had a rebounding edge of 46-36, and that was enough to get the tough road victory.

Final Score: #12 UCLA- 67, Washington State- 60

North Carolina (Ariel Pryde) -- 11-7, 3-4 ACC.

1/19/28 vs. Pittsburgh (W 85-73).
1/22/28 at #8 Syracuse (L 85-76).

A split for the Tar Heels this week, winning at home and losing on the road. Pretty good effort at Syracuse, but not good enough.

Notre Dame (Al Mighty) -- 9-10, 2-5 ACC.

1/19/28 vs. Florida State (L 96-77).
1/22/28 vs. N.C. State (W 91-77).

A split for the Fighting Irish this week, who break a 4 game losing streak with the win over N.C. State.

North Florida (Felix Abel) -- 11-8, 4-1 Atlantic Sun.

1/20/28 at UL Monroe (W 60-58).
1/22/28 at Kennesaw State (W 90-83).

The Ospreys stay hot, winning 2 games this week, and have won 5 of their last 6.

TCU (Bee Mighty) -- 7-10, 1-6 Big 12.

1/17/28 at Oklahoma State (L 77-67).
1/22/28 at Kansas (L 74-65).

2 more losses for the Horned Frogs who continue to struggle. They've lost 7 of their last 8.

Interesting week for the Red Storm, who win 2 out of 3. The 2 that they won were both non-conference games. They fell short in a tough Big East game this week.

1/22/28 vs. Illinois (L 73-70, OT).

Things are going south for the Wildcats, who have lost 4 of their last 5. To be fair, 2 of those 4 losses were against 2 of the best in the conference.

#7 Ohio State (Brett Hawkins) -- 14-4, 3-3 Big Ten.

A split for the Buckeyes, who break a 3 game losing streak with the win at Nebraska.

Solid week for the Spartans, getting 2 dominating victories, getting back over .500 overall.

A road split for the Bulldogs, who lost a tough one at Central Connecticut, but broke a 4 game losing streak with a dominating performance at Robert Morris.

Wagner (Will Brown) -- 13-6, 5-4 Northeast.

1/20/28 vs. LIU Brooklyn (W 67-55).
1/22/28 vs. St. Francis (NY) (L 85-81, OT).

A home split for the Seahawks, as they lose a tough OT game, ending a 4 game losing streak.
