37 games on the schedule this week, including 1 feature game. Let's start there.

2/12/28- Bryant (Rob Nielsen) @ Wagner (Will Brown) -- 22 Bryant turnovers combined with 38.3% shooting did the Bulldogs in, as Wagner led by 13 at halftime and held off a late charge.

Final Score: Wagner- 62, Bryant- 53

Now to the rest of the weekly recap:

North Carolina (Ariel Pryde) -- 14-9, 6-6 T-6th ACC.

2/9/28 at N.C. State (W 90-82).
2/12/28 vs. Virginia Tech (W 76-75).

2 more wins for the Tar Heels as they try to make a late season push for an at-large bid.

Notre Dame (Al Mighty) -- 11-14, 4-9 13th ACC.

2/9/28 vs. Clemson (L 87-59).
2/12/28 at Boston College (W 72-61).

A couple steps back this week for the Fighting Irish as they get hammered at home by Clemson. They do get a win at BC which is a quality win, but the rest of their schedule, except for 1 game, is brutal.

North Florida (Felix Abel) -- 13-12, 6-4 2nd Atlantic Sun.

2/10/28 at Lipscomb (W 81-66).
2/12/28 at Jacksonville (L 89-88).

The Ospreys split this week, both games being on the road. That loss at Jacksonville stings though, as Jacksonville has only won 8 games all season.

TCU (Bee Mighty) -- 8-15, 2-10 10th Big 12.

2/7/28 at Oklahoma (W 76-56).
2/12/28 at Kansas State (L 68-58).

A few signs of life from the Horned Frogs, with a nice win at Oklahoma. Unfortunately they can't keep the momentum going.

#19 St. John's (Dean Hoo) -- 18-6, 9-4 T-2nd Big East.

2/9/28 vs. Butler (W 77-66).
2/12/28 vs. Xavier (W 89-46).

The Red Storm take care of business this week with 2 impressive home victories and stay in the hunt for a Big East title.

Northwestern (Ess Vee) -- 15-9, 6-6 T-7th Big Ten.

2/9/28 at Rutgers (W 81-73).
2/12/28 vs. #9 Iowa (W 80-61).

Great week for the Wildcats who get a big win over a top 10 team and are back in the hunt for an at-large berth.

#6 Ohio State (Brett Hawkins) -- 19-5, 8-4 T-3rd Big Ten.

2/9/28 vs. Michigan State (W 87-78).
2/12/28 vs. Illinois (W 90-78).

The Buckeyes continue to roll, staying in the hunt for a Big Ten title. Huge test next week against the #1 team in the nation.

Wichita State (David Ginsberg) -- 18-6, 11-4 2nd MVC.

2/9/28 vs. Bradley (W 68-64).
2/12/28 vs. Loyola Chicago (W 73-58).

Good week for the Shockers as they beat the conference leaders in Loyola Chicago. They still have some work to do though, but the rest of the schedule is promising.

San Jose State (Thomas Shepard) -- 14-10, 6-6 T-5th Mountain West.

2/10/28 vs. Santa Clara (W 73-54).
2/12/28 vs. Boise State (L 73-65).

The Spartans got a nice non-conference win, but their 6 game winning streak came to an end as they lost to a good Boise State team.

Bryant (Rob Nielsen) -- 11-15, 5-10 10th Northeast.

2/10/28 at Mt. St. Mary's (W 69-61).
2/12/28 at Wagner- feature game, highlighted above.

A split this week for the Bulldogs, both games on the road. They are in the cellar of the Northeast Conference right now but I'm confident they can dig themselves out.

Wagner (Will Brown) -- 17-8, 9-5 2nd Northeast.

2/10/28 vs. St. Francis (PA) (W 87-77).
2/12/28 vs. Bryant- feature game, highlighted above.

Good week for the Seahawks who are just a game behind the conference leaders now.

Stanford (Benito Sanchez) -- 15-9, 6-6 T-6th Pac 12.

2/10/28 vs. Arizona (W 67-47).
2/12/28 at Oregon State (W 76-73).

Good week for the Cardinal who are hitting their stride, also in the hunt for an at-large berth.

#14 UCLA (Tim Shepard) -- 18-6, 9-3 T-1st Pac 12.

2/10/28 at Oregon State (W 67-59).
2/12/28 at Washington (L 77-63).

The Bruins split this week on the road, losing their conference lead but are still in good shape.

Washington State (DeShawn St. John) -- 8-16, 2-10 12th Pac 12.

2/10/28 vs. Gonzaga (L 83-66).
2/12/28 at Utah (L 84-74).

Tough week for the Cougars who lose all the momentum from last week. They are still hoping to get to 10 wins on the season, and improvement must be made.

Alabama (Roy Rogers) -- 14-10, 6-6 T-6th SEC.

2/9/28 vs. Florida (W 75-53).
2/12/28 vs. Ole Miss (W 53-52).

Much needed wins for the Crimson Tide this week as they get 2 much needed wins and are back to .500 in conference play.

Alabama State (Randolph Childress) -- 6-18, 5-8 8th SWAC.

2/7/28 vs. Southern (L 62-48).
2/12/28 vs. Alcorn State (L 68-58).

2 more losses for the Hornets who have lost 6 in a row but have plenty of time to turn it around.

Arkansas Pine Bluff (B.B. Gunn) -- 9-15, 6-6 T-5th SWAC.

2/7/28 vs. SMU (W 80-74).
2/12/28 at Mississippi Valley State (L 68-66).

A split for the Golden Lions who get a nice non-conference win, but then take a hard fought loss back on the road in conference play.

Troy (Benton Gale) -- 16-10, 11-5 2nd Sun Belt.

2/10/28 vs. Texas State (W 101-87).
2/12/28 at Arkansas Little Rock (W 100-93).

2 more wins for the Trojans who are fighting for a Sun Belt title and an at-large berth.

San Diego (Charlie Shocker) -- 14-13, 7-8 5th WCC.

2/10/28 at Pacific (L 78-70).
2/12/28 at St. Mary's (W 78-70).

The Toreros were consistent this week, splitting on the road with both games the exact same score. They are middle of the pack in the WCC but hoping to end strong.

Here's a look at the Overall Bubble Watch, which sees 2 of our teams in it:

Stanford and North Carolina, 2 teams that haven't had great seasons but are in this overall bubble watch based on their history, both still have work to do. The SOS and RPI of both schools is probably enough that they can afford a couple more losses each, but they'd rather not take that chance.

Locks: St. John's, Ohio State, UCLA.
In: Northwestern, Wichita State.

The changes from last time are that Stanford, North Carolina, and Northwestern are projected in.
