#3 Washington (Pac 12, 7-0, +158) vs. #62 Baylor (Big 12, 3-4, +75)

Washington fans are a little worried by this game, and they probably have a right to be. Baylor is not the typical low seed you would expect. As for the Huskies, they were really only tested once in group play. They needed a last second FG to beat a very solid Appalachian State team. Their point differential was helped with 2 big wins, a 61-14 victory over UCF, and a shocking 49-10 victory over a BYU team that was expected to advance out of their group. Now, back to Baylor. Talk about a Jekyll and Hyde performance in group play. In their 3 wins, they outscored their opponents 141-34. But an upset loss to UNLV, plus not being able to get a significant victory over either Nebraska or Auburn, had them (go figure) needing a head to head tiebreaker win over Northern Illinois to advance. If only they could have pulled out a couple more victories, with the point differential they had from their 3 wins, they could have finished a lot higher in their group.

#3 Washington- 49, #62 Baylor- 17

The Huskies made sure they wouldn't be the first upset victims, scoring 28 straight points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters using a balanced rushing/passing attack. They had 2 100+ yard rushers in Myles Gaskin and Lavon Coleman, and QB Jake Browning threw for 3 TDs.
