Our first match away from Victoriarena was a success, with Laurent Schiltz completing a hat trick within 15 minutes of kickoff. His goals came precisely on five-minute intervals (5, 10, 15).

Schiltz' first goal was set up by a beautiful feed from Carlos Ferreira, who found his teammate in a lethal position just outside the six-yard box. The second was the result of a pretty sequence of passes that began when Billy Bernard intercepted and led Marc Binsfeld with a nice diagonal ball. Anton Bozic lured the keeper out, and his pass to Schiltz left him with a finish a schoolboy could execute with ease.

Ferreira laid on Laurent's third goal, too. He and Pazos seem to have some chemistry together; this time, Carlos moved into the middle of the pitch with the ball as Christophe angled behind him to the right for a pass. Pazos gave it back, and from there Ferreira spotted Schiltz with some room to operate on the left side of the goal. The supporters had mentioned that we weren't playing very attractive football. I hope they see the footage of today's goals.

Naturally, Schiltz (9.6!) was Man of the Match, but Ferreira (8.2), Yannick Loose (8.6) and Jeff Oster (8.5) were all outstanding.

Memo to players: PLEASE STOP GETTING HURT!! This time it was Binsfeld, who twisted his ankle-badly--and will be out for 6-8 weeks. So, just as Alphonse Leweck is about to return, Binsfeld will take his place on the injury list.
