Much, much more like it, with Laurent Schiltz providing a hat trick. The first, on 5', came through a beautiful combination of quick, sharp passes, Heinz-Leweck-Pott-Schiltz-goal. Three minutes later, Una Strassen center back Nesnad da Mota made a howler of an error, fluffing a pass across the area that never reached its intended destination because Schiltz happily pounced on it and drilled it past the keeper.

Una Strassen pulled one back before Schiltz struck again, keeping himself onside while Andy Rakic threaded a pass to him and coolly applying the finish.

The fourth goal came late, and it was a lot of fun. I brought young striker Claude Codello up from the reserves, and he came on for Pott. Soon after he took the pitch, Schiltz led him with a beautiful ball. Claude swerved left to gain some space, accelerated past a defender, shot, and scored. It was his first goal at the senior level and, if the skill he showed is any indication, it won't be his last. He's found the goal 11 times in 13 appearances for our U20s and reserves.

Schiltz, for his scoring and passing, rated 9.7 and was an easy choice for Man of the Match.

The Third Round won't be played until April. We're drawn away to Wiltz, last year's Promotion Division champion who are currently holding up the National Division table.
