In addition to saves totals feeling "off", SB totals are off, too. Through 1989, Jeff Stone with 82 SB is the only even remotely modern player with that many SBs. Brett Butler is the best SB guy of his generation, and he's only averaging about 50+ a year. And there's nobody on the single-season list between 1940 and 1978.
