Martin Rowlands and Dani alternated at the starting AMC spot last season and while I think Rowlands did a very good job, I like what he can bring to the wing more than what he brings to the center spot. Dani came on as one of my first signees on a free transfer in the Summer of 2004 and wasn't very impressive in his first season as a Ranger thus giving me reasons enough to try and bring a few new players to the position.

Cedric van der Gun comes to us on a free transfer from Dutch side Ajax and he could and he's currently slated to take over the AMC spot with Rowlands moving back to the wing. Dani still figures in the mix and Youri Djorkaeff, another free transfer that that fans questionned du to his advanced (!) age, will be the wild card, capable of playing all three attacking middie spots. Adam Miller is listed there but almost never played in that spot last season, mostly coming in as a sub winger.
