Not sure if you remember this trick or not, so I'll mention it.
If you run into problems with guys complaining about being left off of shows, the brand split trick (where you create a 2nd brand but don't run any shows for it) still works.
Considering the various & sundry handicaps human players have to deal with, I've never felt the least bit guilty using that one.
