I know we are young and have a new coach. This team is definitely crazy enough to believe they can win. We just need that win to prove it.

1st Series

We returned the opening kickoff 101 yards for a TD. So I don't touch the field until 3:34 minutes left in the first quarter.

HB Sweep - 2 Yard Loss
HB Zone Weak - 14 yard gain

We ended up fumbling this series and turning the ball over

2nd Series

Zone Weak - 1 yard gain
Read Option - 1 yard loss
Zone Weak - 3 yard gain

We are now into the 2nd qtr

HB Power O - 1 yard loss
HB Draw - 23 yard gain
HB Dive - 5 yard gain
HB Sprint - No Gain
PA Bubble - Incomplete

12 plays in the series and I was involved with 8 of them. We missed the 25 yard FG.

3rd Series

Four Verticals - 12 Yard Gain
HB Slip Screen - Incomplete

We end up punting this series

The QB watched me the entire time and the LB jumped on him.

What an amazing feeling scoring your first ever college TD and to do it at a home game in front of my family was pretty special..

I don't know why the QB didn't audible out of the option, but we end up punting

I took a helmet on the knee and I am done for the rest of the series

I wasn't involved on a ton of play other than blocking, but we did end up scoring on this series.

Not bad, I think we proved that we can play and hang. Our offense can work if everyone gels well. I had a solid game and racked up my 1st 100 yard game.
