Texas- 9, Pittsburgh- 2 -- The Rangers scored 7 runs off McDonald in the first 2 innings, with the big blow coming in the 2nd, as Texas batted around. Pittsburgh's bullpen did a good job shutting down Texas after the 2nd, but it was too little, too late. Mike Napoli and Adrian Beltre each had 3 RBIs for the Rangers.

Colorado- 8, Baltimore- 3 -- The Rockies put up 3 spots in both the 3rd and 6th innings, getting 5 straight singles in the 3rd and 2 straight triples in the 6th. Todd Helton lacked a double in his quest to hit for the cycle, and Hammel went 7 innings.

Washington at Cleveland

Livan Hernandez (WAS) vs. Fausto Carmona (CLE)
Game Recap
Cleveland- 2, Washington- 1 -- A classic in this one, as Hernandez and Carmona dueled for 7 innings before Carmona was replaced. Both pitchers got out of a couple jams, but a solo homer by Laynce Nix in the top of the 5th gave Washington the lead. It would hold until the bottom of the 9th, when Shelley Duncan singled to lead off the inning. With 1 out, Carlos Santana walked, and then Hernandez threw a wild pitch. He was replaced by Washington closer Drew Storen, who got Jack Hannahan to pop out to the catcher, but Jason Donald came through with a walk-off, 2 RBI single to win it for the Indians!
