CL's Best Pitcher is Cowan

Apex clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year
Josh Cowan will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2207 Continental League Gabriel Prado Award.
Cowan made 31 starts this year, winning 18 and losing 5. He threw 213.2 innings, fanned 202, allowed 157 hits and 21 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .203 average as he logged an impressive 1.90 ERA.

The Gabriel Prado Award for 2207 has been presented and the Republic League winner is
Noah Tremblay of
Tokyo.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Tremblay. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Catfish star told reporters.
Tremblay excelled with an impressive 18-8 record in 39 starts. In 252 innings he yielded 214 hits and 27 walks, while striking out 211 and compiling a fine 2.07 ERA.
