The Gabriel Prado Award for 2209 has been presented and the Continental League winner is
Samuel Bujold of
Apex.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Bujold. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Assassins star told reporters.
Bujold excelled with an impressive 17-10 record in 32 starts. In 239 innings he yielded 183 hits and 42 walks, while striking out 207 and compiling a fine 2.22 ERA.

Mubale Kipkoech has no intention of going anywhere anytime soon. The 36-year-old
Indians starter hoisted up the Republic League Gabriel Prado Award earlier today, silencing critics who thought it was time for the "old man" to retire.
Kipkoech crafted an ERA of 2.55 as he won 17 games, dropped 12, fanned 159 and gave up 64 walks in 243.1 innings of work.
