I guess if you zoom in on the amphitheater you'll hear it playing music (themes from previous Civ games).
I'm liking most everything about the game so far except for the user interface. Felt like it was easier to see what was going on in Civ 5 with your cities, workers, and so on. Maybe it's just something I have to get used to.
