Luis Sánchez of
Cleveland.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Sánchez. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Cyclones star told reporters.
Sánchez excelled with an impressive 17-8 record in 40 starts. In 230.1 innings he yielded 210 hits and 53 walks, while striking out 211 and compiling a fine 2.93 ERA.
2171 RL Gabriel Prado Award Named

Mauro Anguiana had a terrific 2171 season in the Republic League. The
Omaha pitching stalwart received the most votes and has been proclaimed this year's Gabriel Prado Award winner.
The Bees ace starred with an impressive 16-6 record. In 33 starts, he gave up 202 base hits and struck out 152 in 226 innings with a 3.19 ERA. Opposing teams hit .246 against him.
