Church of the Cosmic Skull.. Aside from having one of my favorite band names of all time, they're a unique blend that goes all over the map from classic "arcade rock" to pop to pink floyd to doom metal, often within the confines of one song. Some have compared them to Ghost for their theatrics and faux religious themes, and I think they are executing the style Ghost went for on this most recent album better than Ghost did. There are enough tasty riffs to make the pop sections of their songs work in a weird way.
