Experiences Repeated
11 December, 1518 – Castille declared war upon Algiers. Tunisa and Morocco joined Algiers. I join Castille again.
19 January, 1519 – Venice defeated Genoa and won two provinces.
10 March, 1519 – We defeated Tunisia in Gabes.
17 March, 1519 – I lose my Galley in a quick exchange with Tunisian fleets. I now have around 5500 troops in Gabes including my leader. I march to Tunis itself.
19 April, 1519 – We defeat a Tunisian army in Tunis. Around 1000 opposing troops have slipped behind our line and are besieging Tripolitania. They came from the province(s) I can’t see.
13 June, 1519 – Portugal declares war upon Morocco. Algiers joins Morocco. Aragon and England join Portugal. I won’t have to worry about help from Tunisia’s allies on m front of the war now.
9 July, 1519 – 2000 troops I detatch from Tunis arrived in Tripolitania and broke the siege.
30 August, 1519 – We capture Tunis.
11 October, 1519 – We again defeat Tunisian troops in Gabes and recapture the province.
15 October, 1519 – We get another Press Boundary Dispute issue. This time we gain core provinces on two Turkish Greek provinces, Janina and Salonica, and our relations with the Ottomans thus drop 60.
1 November, 1519 – Venice declared war on Austria. Their ally Burgundy joins against Venice.
1 January, 1520 – I order a workshop built in Athens.
3 January, 1520 – I send a peace offer to Algiers demanding 50 ducats for peace. They accept and send us the money.
