NFL DRAFT
One of the biggest surprises of the NFL Draft was
Dean Hoo, who despite not getting much of a shot at Temple impressed scouts enough leading up to the draft. The Minnesota Vikings took Dean with the 3rd overall pick in the draft.
Al Mighty was picked 22nd in the 1st round by the Green Bay Packers.
The New York Giants took
Will Brown in the 2nd round.
Bobby Fredericks was picked by the San Francisco 49ers in the 5th round.
Mike Schaplowsky went undrafted.
FREE AGENCY
Cannon Pace signed a 1-year deal with the New York Jets.
PRESEASON
Bernard Blaze will start the season as a backup WR.
Will Brown will begin the year as the #2 RB for New York Giants.
Bobby Fredericks will be a backup.
Benton Gale will start at CB.
