31 games on the schedule this week, and 1 feature game, in the SWAC. We'll start there.

12/27/27- Alabama State (Randolph Childress) @ Arkansas Pine Bluff (B.B. Gunn) -- A close game all the way between 2 of the bottom feeders in the SWAC, and the difference came from the three point line. Pine Bluff made a couple more three pointers, and that was enough.

Final Score: Arkansas Pine Bluff- 75, Alabama State- 70

North Carolina (Ariel Pryde) -- 9-4, 1-1 ACC.

12/29/27 vs. #14 Florida State (L 73-65).
1/1/28 at Clemson (W 89-86, OT).

A split this week for the Tar Heels, who needed overtime to win on the road, and fell late against a ranked Florida State team.

Notre Dame (Al Mighty) -- 7-6, 0-1 ACC.

12/27/27 at Akron (L 85-82, OT).
12/29/27 at Georgia Tech (L 82-80).

2 tough losses on the road this week for the Fighting Irish. They can't be losing these kind of games if they are going to get back to the postseason.

North Florida (Felix Abel) -- 7-7, 0-0 Atlantic Sun.

12/27/27 at College of Charleston (L 78-76).
1/2/28 vs. Penn (W 82-67).

A split for the Ospreys, who maintain that .500 mark. The win against Penn snapped a brief 3 game losing streak.

TCU (Bee Mighty) -- 6-5, 0-2 Big 12.

12/27/27 at Iowa State (L 69-64).
1/1/28 at #23 West Virginia (L 81-70).

2 tough road losses for the Horned Frogs to open up Big 12 play. They have a tough road ahead of them.

St. John's (Dean Hoo) -- 8-3, 1-1 Big East.

12/29/27 at Creighton (W 101-91).
1/1/28 at #13 Seton Hall (L 82-74).

A split for the Red Storm to start Big East play. A solid win at Creighton, but they couldn't get it done at Seton Hall.

Northwestern (Ess Vee) -- 9-3, 0-0 Big Ten.

No games this week for The Wildcats and Coach Vee.

#5 Ohio State (Brett Hawkins) -- 11-1, 0-0 Big Ten.

12/31/27 at Eastern Michigan (W 107-79).

Just 1 game for the Buckeyes this week, a non-conference tune up before they jump into Big Ten play.

Wichita State (David Ginsberg) -- 7-5, 1-3 MVC.

12/29/27 at Evansville (L 70-68).
1/1/28 at Indiana State (L 69-67).

A heartbreaking pair of losses for the Shockers. That's 3 losses in a row by a combined 5 points. Ouch!

San Jose State (Thomas Shepard) -- 5-7, 0-3 Mountain West.

12/29/27 vs. San Diego State (L 72-59).
1/1/28 at Wyoming (L 49-42).

The losing streak continues for the Spartans, who lost 2 more games this week and are still looking for a Mountain West win.

Bryant (Rob Nielsen) -- 6-8, 0-3 Northeast.

12/30/27 vs. LIU Brooklyn (L 85-73).
1/1/28 vs. St. Francis (NY) (L 78-71).

The Bulldogs lose 2 more, their losing streak is now up to 5, as they continue to struggle.

Wagner (Will Brown) -- 9-4, 1-2 Northeast.

1/1/28 vs. Mt. St. Mary's (W 73-60).

A good week for the Seahawks, who get 2 solid wins at home, including their first Northeast win of the season.

#19 Stanford (Benito Sanchez) -- 9-3, 0-0 Pac 12.

12/29/27 at #6 Indiana (L 91-76).

Just 1 game for the Cardinal, a non-conference loss to a very good Indiana team.

UCLA (Tim Shepard) -- 9-3, 0-0 Pac 12.

12/27/27 vs. Charlotte (W 103-86).
12/30/27 vs. FIU (W 82-55).

2 solid wins for the Bruins this week as they get ready for Pac 12 play.

Washington State (DeShawn St. John) -- 6-6, 0-0 Pac 12.

12/30/27 vs. Long Beach State (W 60-54).

Good win for the Cougars as they get back to .500 and get ready for Pac 12 play.

Alabama (Roy Rogers) -- 8-4, 0-0 SEC.

12/31/27 vs. #1 Louisville (W 68-54).

Great win for the Crimson Tide, knocking off the #1 team in the nation. They finish strong in non-conference play, getting ready for SEC play.

Alabama State (Randolph Childress) -- 2-10, 1-1 SWAC.

1/1/28 at Mississippi Valley State (W 67-59).

A split for the Hornets, and with the win at Miss. Valley, they break a 9 game losing streak.

Arkansas Pine Bluff (B.B. Gunn) -- 2-10, 1-1 SWAC.

A split for the Golden Lions as they continue to struggle to find some consistency.

Another split for the Trojans, who remain at .500 overall, and are still 1 game over .500 in a wide open conference.
