I think the developers bought the MF game/property but are developing their new game from scratch. I've had their Discord channel in the background for some time but I only just noticed that they updated the logo to a big V which coincided with the announcement of this game.
Personally I think that a high school football game is going to be a hard sell. It doesn't have the recognition factor of a pro or college game but it sounds like they have plans to extend their game if this takes off. |
