We're mild 4:6 favorites against a team that we're 2-0 against in my career. Stick with 4-4-2 Diamond Standard to open

D: Holden, A.Jones, Williamson, Groves
MF: Sawyer, Giddings, Moke, Whitaker
F: Cofie, Bembo-Leta

19' - Giddings takes a knock, goes off for treatment
20' - Sawyer takes a knock, goes off for treatment
27' - Bembo-Leta fires a mid-range shot that strikes the keeper in the chest
41' - Cofie has an open net from the point but shoots wide right
44' - Cofie works the ball back out to Whitaker 30 yards outside ... he fires and scores (1-0)

Halftime - Not the most exciting match ever but a lead is plenty good enough for me honestly.

60' - They miss high off a corner, should have tied it up. Worcester controlling play since halftime.
61' - Sub Lobjoit (for Giddings, tired) ... Bembo-Leta to MR, Whitaker to ML, Moke to AMC
71' - Groves fouls in the box, gives up a PK ... Dovey makes the save !
80' - Sub Davies (for Bembo-Leta, tired 5.9)
81' - Lobjoit has a chance but shoots wide under pressure

90' - GK Lake joins their attack ... 3 minutes added time

Fulltime: Blyth 1 - Worcester 0
Whitaker is MOM with a 7.4 and the only goal. A.Jones (7.2) and Groves (7.1) also played well, I single the trio out for praise. We were outshot 17-5 but only 3 of theirs were on target.
