Thanks for checking back in...so for the season we have:
Short Course State - @ mid February
Short Course Sectionals - @ mid March
Long Course State - @ mid July
There are other meets if the times are good enough like Jr. Nationals, Nationals, and Zones
Zones is an interesting meet, kids have to apply to be considered, and then based on their performance in the State Meet applicants are chosen to swim...all in all, the Zone Team will only have something like 6 kids/age group (1 swimmer/stroke, +2 wildcard/high point selections)...Brett's good friend Jack Dolan swam Zones last year. Zones comes at a bad time for the twins as it is a Long Course Meet and they will have just aged up...it is good for Brett, but he needs to grow before it will matter.
