Georgia Senior Long Course State @ UGA Natatorium - 7/26 - 7/28

#6 Men's 200 Meter Freestyle (2:01.03) - Bear will be swimming this one event during the state meet. He still has qualifying times in all the distance events and the IMs and 200 Fly, but because of his limited training due to being in physical therapy he won't be contesting those other events. If his stroke is strong in the opening 50 and 100 it is possible that he might choose to time-trail those events in an effort to improve on his person best. Honestly, I expect that he'll do fine in the first 100, but the lack of extensive training will bite him back half. My guess would be he posts something in the 2:05 range.

Note: Last night was Bear's final practice with Gold. It passed without any comment because all his friends have left the team already. It will be interesting to see if Coach Ryan has any comment for Bear today, since this will most likely be their last interaction.
