Time to play against Manhattan. Their best player is their point guard Luther Sood who isn't as fast or as skilled as Everett.

At the 15 minute mark: We are down 9-6. No one's shot is falling for us yet. All of our points are from the FT line.

The next 5 minutes both teams run a lot. We are down 20-19 at the 10 minute mark. At this point, we go to our bench except for Simon.

Simon scores our next 4 points to give us the 23-20 lead with 7:45 to go. But, they get the next 7 points to take the lead back.

Hendriks ends the run with a drive into the lane that draws a foul.

With 5 minutes to go: They have a 28-25 lead.

Graves hits a 3 at the buzzer to make it 35-32, they lead. We had a 8-0 run in the last 2 minutes of the half, highlighted by a huge Simon slam dunk on a putback and Graves' 3 at the buzzer.

Sood is the player of the half. Their PG has 8 points, 3 assists, and 1 board.

Simon leads the way for our team with 10 points, 8 boards, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Graves also had a good half despite shooting 2 of 8. He has 9 points, 1 board, 1 assist, and 1 block.

Again, our shooting is going cold. We are down 45-37 at the 15 minute mark.

Kragel, their 7'3 center, is scoring well against us as well. He puts in his 14th points to give them a 12 point lead with 12 minutes to go.

A minute later, he gets an offensive board and the putback to give them a 14 point lead. Snow can't get us out of our shooting funk and we are missing everything.

Snow misses another 3 attempt and they push the lead to 16 and then 18 on the next possession

Ortiz finally makes a cut to the basket and Hendriks passes it to him perfectly for an easy layup. 58-42.

Stefanov their SF hits 2 3's in a row to extend the lead to 64-42. I'm trying everyone and no one can hit a shot right now.

Simon finally hits another inside hook to end the run.

We close the gap slightly to 65-50 with 6:45 to go.

Graves comes back into the game fully rested and is scoring, but they are too. Porter, their backup SG hits a 3 to extend their lead back to 15.

With 4:40 to go, Graves drives into the lane, collides with their 7'3 center and hurts his knee

Our trainer tells us Graves is done. So are we. They go another run and we are down by 20 again. The kids just weren't ready for the pressure of the tournament

Sheesh their shooters are on fire, hitting 3's from all over.

We lose 89-66. A very disappointing ending to a disappointing year. I ust that Graves isn't hurt badly.

Kragel, their 7'3 center had 20 points, 13 boards, 3 blocks, and 2 assists to win player of the game.

Simon led our team with 18 points, 13 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.

Graves had 15 points, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 boards. He shot 5 of 15.

Everett had 9 points, 3 assists, and 7 turnovers as they pressured him effectively.

Collins had 9 points.

Owensworth had 9 boards.

We end the year 11-18.

Now, to look at the NCAA Tournament and finish up the season.
