Maassluis Merchantmen Versus Columbus Architects Recap
Despite holding the Architects to 25 yards rushing and a total of 186 yards on offense, turnovers and lack of scoring cost the Merchantmen the unbeaten streak at home, losing 3-13. Justin McDavid completed 13 of 27 passes, tossed 2 interceptions and was sacked 5 times, as the offensive line couldn't perform like they did in the first three games. Yhe Merchantmen drop back to a 1-3 record, for still third place in the European Division. Next week is a road game at Bordeaux, where a victory can keep the Dutch team close to the playoff race after 5 weekends.
