If you like the Beatles, you should see this--it's kind of a love letter to the band. As a film, it hits the Romantic Comedy notes competently, but is nothing exceptional in that regard.
I agree with a lot of the reviewers that the premise of the movie is so interesting that you will leave feeling that you would have liked to see more exploration of that premise. But I'm guessing that the movie makers would tell you that that was not their intent. This wasn't a "let's explore everything that would happen if the Beatles didn't exist" movie. It was a romantic comedy set in a world where the Beatles never existed.
Overall, we all enjoyed it, and I've been humming songs to myself for a couple of days now. And what more do you want from a feel-good Summer movie?
