So I finally made the call to Dish to cancel....
...and they made me a pretty good offer. I get fully upgraded equipment at no cost, they waive the monthly equipment fees, and give me a rate better than what new customers get for being a long-time customer. I cut my monthly cost from $139 to $89 locked-in rate for 2 years.
I also don't have to worry about the death of net neutrality throttling my internet connection and potentially messing with an internet tv option. I'm very happy.
