Dear your Highness,
Far be it that a humble general question you, but your free thought edict has enabled me to raise a concerning issue. If there isn't a feet to defend us from threats, expanding the resources as quickly as possible wont really matter. I would encourage Inquisitor Roe to have another look at the budget in hopes to land Admiral SirFozzie some more ships for the defense of our wonderful home of Humboldt. Even if this encounter is pushed back easily, we still have no idea what is out there. While my army does excel at fishiness, our weakness is a concern if another race is able to blow by Admiral SirFozzie.
