I didn't but perhaps I should have. That said, it's not a HUGE loss, as Claudio Contreras was always destined for the starting job at some point but Tjiuoro was a young veteran that could easily step in and play at a high level. He was great insurance.
Daniel Traore will now step into a larger role and Mohamed Lamine Yilmaz may get a few senior level games too. I do have some flexibility as well with vice captain Salim Loucif able to play in the middle of the defence, which would allow Kostas Zagos to go to right fullback.
So lots of options. In the end, getting that much money for Tjiuoro might be a blessing in disguise.
