So apparently my assumption on how the tiebreakers would work was wrong, rather than go head to head points, sets h2h, and games h2h, they elected to just go % of sets won in division. Which we also lost 53.33% to 51.725%.

Also because some conferences had 7 teams and some had 8 they took win percentage for the 2 additional 3rd place teams that made the playoffs. We won 58.33% of our matches, but two 3rd place teams finished with 65% or better results. Not really surprising we didn't make it on win % with our division being so tight. So we came up just short of the playoffs, but frankly it's probably a good thing. I can now nurse my aches and strains and Joe's (my friend who added me to this team) elbow and wrist are really bothering him and he could use some downtime to try and get any inflammation out of those joints.
