Went to the doctor about a week ago and he said, "Good news is you didn't get your Achilles, bad news is, you definitely popped what looks like 2 tendons." He said I got part of the gastrocnemius muscle and based on bruising and his experience he's pretty sure I got the plantaris tendon as well.
Said I wouldn't need surgery, but it would be close to 3 months before I was ready to play again. I do have the option of PT, but even with that, I don't expect I'll be in a position to play again until after the season is over.
