Game 2 to the Blue Jays 4-3 (11) Leal overcame Koosman. Teufel homered for the Twins. Twins scored twice in the 9^th to send it to extras.
Game 3 to the Twins 5-4 (10) Hough threw 149 pitches, struck out 11 and outlasted Stieb. Both pitchers pitched into the 9^th inning. Barfield homered for the Blue Jays, while Ken Griffey Sr and Gary Ward homered for the Twins.
