I'll be watching the BMW series this year, but have no idea how it will fare. With a power manufacturer like BMW, the money will be there for the series to succeed. I wish they would have went for a more powerful engine, something between Atlantics and Champ Car. Drivers trying to make the jump, miss Indy Lights. It will be interesting to follow AJ Allmendinger (the Atlantics Champ) this year in Champ Car.

Barber Dodge getting the axe would of been a hit to the ladder system, if the BMW series didn't come into play. I hope Barber does eventually come back, but if it doesn't... no big deal. They are still keeping the BD Driving School Open. I'm not well enough educated on the Stars of Tomorrow cars. I've seen some of there races, but they look like glorified go-karts. I guess they serve their purpose in the ladder system though.
