We visited Emmanuel College on Sunday. We were planning to go up to King University, but it is close to Bristol and they had that UT/VaTech game and we didn't want to deal with that Zoo.

Again the campus was nice classic Georgia brick architecture. The housing area seemed like a new and very nice complex with 4 buildings all surrounding a building that appeared to be a common area for hanging out together.

We did get to walk through the athletic center, and it was very nice. The pool is 10 lanes (though it looked like only 6 were set up for racing), and very nice. The room was a bit hot for my liking, but when you are swimming it probably isn't as noticeable. The basketball and volleyball areas were across the hall and in immaculate condition. They also had an 8 lane bowling alley in the facility and the cafeteria was a Pappa Johns.

It was also interesting...we watched a bit of the soccer team playing a match against someone. We couldn't tell who they were, but later when we went through the athletic facility we saw about 8 girls wearing King University T-Shirts and we figured that had to be who the men were playing in soccer, and that the women had played earlier in the day and were waiting for the men to finish so they could head back to school.

We are planning to go to King this Saturday.
