College Swimming - Bailey

Bailey received an email from a new school that is recruiting her, Millersville University in Pennsylvania.

This comes at an interesting time. Bailey is regularly being contacted by 5 or 6 schools about swimming, but currently she's not sure she wants to swim in college. I think she's viewing it incorrectly. She seems to have adopted the approach that if she can't swim at a good school (D1 or high D2) that it isn't worth it. Where I've been trying to get her to understand that she should be looking at college swimming as a way to have a built in friend group day 1 on campus, a way to have fun competing, and potentially to provide some financial assistance to help pay for school.

We'll see where this leads.
