Bailey

# 10 (d1/s1): G 15 & Over 100 Back (1:03.88) - Almost opened the meet with a personal best...missed by an eye blink 1:03.97
# 22 (d1/s1): G 15 & Over 100 Fly (1:01.09) - After the 100 back was hoping this would be close. She posted a 1:02.40, which wasn't as close as I was hoping, but given she's usually around a 1:04 high or 1:05, this was a nice improvement.
# 24 (d1/s1): G 13 & Over 400 Medley (4:50.18) - Again, really close to her best time - 4:52.85
# 63 (d1/s3): G 13 & Over 200 Fly (2:13.79) - 2:15.82 is a nice time..only 2 seconds off her personal best. As a point of reference, in October in this event she swam a 2:21...
# 87 (d1/s3): G 13 & Over 200 Back (2:15.42) - Not as good as the previous swims with a time of 2:18.33, but still very respectable.
# 103 (d1/s3): G 13 & Over 500 Free (5:26.82) - This was the one swim that really was pretty mediocre. She only managed a 5:37.80, which is a pretty big add. However, at the end of the travel meet, after sitting around at the facility for almost 7 hours waiting to race this event it isn't all the surprising.

Bear

# 7 (d1/s1): B 15 & Over 200 Medley (2:03.39) - all around a pretty rough swim...all splits were off but the back and breast were way off - 2:09.77
# 23 (d1/s1): B 15 & Over 100 Fly (56.40) - not a bad swim here 57.48, only a second off his best
# 25 (d1/s1): B 13 & Over 400 Medley (4:11.59) - with the bad 200, there was no shot this would end well - 4:32.40
# 64 (d1/s3): B 13 & Over 200 Fly (1:57.01) - was hoping this one would be close after the nice 100, but it was a pretty big add for Bear - 2:03.61
# 72 (d1/s3): B 13 & Over 200 Free (1:45.91) - Another pretty big add at 1:49.81. At this point I was concerned. Bear wasn't tapered so I didn't expect personal bests, but these times were way off of his best, which is unusual. He typically stays within range and it's easy to see where with rest he'll be able to post best times. These times are so far off, I'm concerned he's within striking distance.
# 96 (d1/s3): B 13 & Over 50 Free (23.83) - 24.86 - is another poor swim - he's going 23 second splits after practice when racing for the high school team.
# 104 (d1/s3): B 13 & Over 500 Free (4:41.77) - a terrible swim of 5:00.40 - the coach admitted following this swim that he thinks Bear is worn out. The coach says he is going to start to look for ways to allow Bear to recover more, hopefully he does, because I think the wear and tear is breaking him down again.
