Southern Athletic Association Conference Championships - Day 1 - FINALS RESULTS

500 Yard Free (4:47.16) : Seeded 5th - Bear opened with a 53.17, only .04 off his opening 100 from the morning, and that was the only split of the 5 that was slower. He dropped over a half a second in the second split, .1 in the 3rd, around .8 in the 4th, and 1.28 seconds in the last 100 to post a finals time of 4:44.58. Another great swim, again taking the spot of his second fastest time ever in this event. Unfortunately, despite his huge improvement, he was passed in the last 100 by a swimmer who closed with a 56.24 split, so Bear settled for 6th place. Ross finished 3rd and Dylan took 4th.

This really pumped me up about what his meet might look like. I couldn't wait until day 2.
