I believe foot soldiers and higher organizational strength increases the power of your rallies and barnstorming. Barnstorming costs fewer CP, but has less momentum effect.
Click on Player Info, go to Offers. Any time you get a positive percentage on drop/endorse, go for it. Otherwise yeah, you'll get hit with the penguin rush on somebody other than you, which will lose you the game.
