1. Goodfellas
2. Raging Bull
3. The Aviator
4. Taxi Driver
5. The King of Comedy
6. Mean Streets
7. The Departed
8. Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore
9. The Color of Money
10. Cape Fear (barely edges Casino)

I'll agree with you to a point. Having seen most of these, I'll give you Goodfellas and Raging Bull being better. I put The Departed at #3. Having seen Flags of our Fathers (not Letters) it is shameful how terrible the movie was compared to the book. I got nothing out of the movie whatsoever. The movie needed to spend more time showing the guys growing up so that we cared about them. That's the touching part of the book. The Departed was the best movie I saw this year but yes, it's not Scorcese's best.
