Ok, so, yeah. Definitely atrocious. We went with QB Arredondo for the first 10 games of the season, mostly because he looked like he might have had a slightly better move in camp than the others. He went 0-10.
We switched it up and went to QB Tate to finish the year and he went 3-3. Tate has the much bigger scrambling bar, and I think he likely just did a slightly better job of running out of some bad throws. I'm pretty convinced that the scramble bar can save a guy who is not very good at throwing the ball from trying to throw the ball. If that ends up being a few more positive yardage plays each game, you're probably moving the needle.
We didn't get good rushing production necessarily, but it's hard to adjust for how absolutely putrid we are. We have a couple of RBs who actually look like useful pieces on a normal team but there's not a lot to help them.
The passing game was disastrous. There's really no way to overcome our particular recipe here. No talent, no experience, no cohesion, no soup for you.
I'm all ears if someone sees something interesting defensively. We seemed to actually kind of hold up when we were in games where the offense was competitive.
