ESSZ Age Group Championships- DAY 2 RESULTS

Boys 11/12 200 B Free Relay - Bear's relay wasn't going to be extremely strong, especially at this level of competition, in fact, they would have struggled to finish in the top 15. As it turns out they were DQed, Bear actual had an early take off, by .09 seconds. The kid coming into the wall breathed right before touching and thus threw off the timing. This isn't that uncommon, as the kids at this age don't practice their relay starts often, and they almost never practice with the people in their actual relay (as they don't swim out of the same facilities). Bear did manage to swim a 28.41 split...so even with a legal start he would have been under 29...also with a cold start he's probably right around 29 flat.
