Bailey College Update - Roanoke College
Interestingly, Roanoke College issued a preemptive strike...
Bailey is looking more and more like she's planning to hang up her goggles. She's still not applied to any of the schools she visited for swimming, even to the point of just seeing how much it would cost to attend the school. Roanoke, having not received an application, sent Bailey an acceptance letter offering her $100k over 4 years. The offer is apparently fully executable without ever seeing her transcripts. Also, given their willingness to negotiate with Bear, odds they would increase the offer to her, if she were to push the issue are high.
No idea what her thoughts on the letter are, because we didn't discuss it last night. My assumption is that she is flattered, but still not interested in the effort it would take to swim in college. I'll update the board, when I know more.
