Learning to get her shot off against older/better players is going to be something that will be invaluable to her as she progresses. There will often be someone who is bigger or better as she goes through her career. Putting in the work during practice and training and getting a lot of experience in that situation does help players not shy away from those moments.

As she goes through the rough patches, AP should remember: Shots may or may not fall, but hustle and sound defense should always play. Coaches always need players that get to lose balls, play defense without fouling, and can cause havoc for the other team. And you'd be surprised how playing well on defense keeps your energy up on the offensive end and helps you out of slumps.
