This win should propel us to a compete for the MAC title.
Offensively, we were balanced. We established the run and our play-action passing game was very effective, HB Rasmussen is proving to be one of the top runners in the country. And Livesay is starting to take better care of the ball.
Defensively, we are playing very well, especially against the run. Marshall only rushed for 41 yards. They were able to pass effectively against us (22/36 225 yds) but we stopped them when we needed too. Dt Lovelace is having a dominant year so far.

This is not good at all. Both of my starting DE's are hurt (my best one for the year) and my starting QB is hurting.

Western Michigan has a good chance of taking down Notre Dame. We travel to Goldsboro, NC to play our annual game with the 1-3 Goldsboro Pig Pickers. Goldsboro runs a Run and Shoot offense, but does not run it well. And defensively, they do not do a good job at anything run or pass.
