League news
The playoffs have advanced into the conference championships games after today's semifinals. In four games, all four winners were the Vegas favorites to win, yet one of them was sort of an upset afterall. Here's a quick recap.

In Fairbanks the home playing Northstars saw their quarterback Joey Allen excel with 4 touchdown passes to lead his team all the way to a big 38-13 win. The losing Columbus Architects looked good, but had no answer to the excellent passing play from the defending IHOF champions, who play their next game at home.

The Conyers Condors saw Geoffrey Trinidad score on an overtime field goal to pull off a great fourth quarter comeback. The visiting AOC champions Telluride Outlaws gave up a 21-3 lead to be washed away by the #1 seeds, as Everett 'Aces' Glenn passed for 389 yards and ran for 24 as well. The Condors stay at home for the AOC title game.

The Bordeaux Vineyards missed Joe Johnson at quarterback, but in a defensive game, kicker Fernando Ramsey was the hero once again for the home team. The North Plainfield Plague again miss the AOC title after last year's championship game loss, as they lose 6-9 on the road.

In Chespeake, the second half of the game of the week was lethal for the home town Chtterlings. The Ann Arbor Anachronism defended a half time 7-3 lead very well, out yarding the opponent 3 to 2. With 4 touchdown passes Donald Woods was the big man in the 31-16 victory, that extends the triple A's winning streak to 13 games.

With the matchups Bordeaux at Conyers and Ann Arbor at Fairbanks, it's clear that the NAC champions (Ann Arbor or Fairbanks) will be the favorites to win it all. The NAC title game will be another Donald Woods versus Joey Allen showdown, the big name quarterbacks in the IHOF. In the AOC game, the Condors are warned after a week 7 loss in France on a last-second 56-yard field goal from Fernando Ramsey.
