Julio is regarded as one of the best defenders in Germany and possibly around the world. He has been fantastic for Leverkusen as he is both strong defensively and also a creative force. The one major issue he has is that he picks up way too many bookings and sending-offs and that makes him potentially unreliable because he will miss games as a result, such as last season's German Cup final.
